Update on “Walking through fear”
Just a quick one from me as I felt like celebrating my win today with you all.

I had a ticket for an event organised by the local Rock Choir that I'm part of. It was an evening event and I knew I would have to drive there by myself in the dark, and find parking. I had been to this venue once before (about half an hour's drive from where I live) and that time, even though it was daylight in the summer, I'd got lost and had to find parking on the road. Needless to say I was more than a little stressed about it.
So I'd been feeling fairly apprehensive ahead of tonight's excursion. However I was absolutely determined to walk through my fear. So I prepared myself. I meditated shortly before leaving, so that I would be in a calm state, I left myself plenty of time to get here, which also meant that I was able to park in the small car park attached to the venue as I was early enough.
So I'm sitting here, in my car in the car park, feeling pretty darn pleased with myself! Yes, I am one hour early, and that's perfectly ok. So much better than rushing and being stressed (o, I can imagine my Dad smiling down on me for that one!). And it gives me time to write this blog post. So I reckon that's a great big win all round. 😊
Thank you for listening.
